The following year, Ira moved the business to 704 Third Avenue. It is said by many, that Craig Printing is the second oldest business in New Brighton that is still operating. The first being Standard Horse Nail Corp. in 1872. About 1945, Ira Craig died and his son, Omar, inherited the business. Leo Hicks began working for Mr. Craig as an apprentice in 1955. Upon Omar's death in 1959, Leo managed the business for Mrs. Omar Craig until 1966 when he and his wife, Laraine, assumed ownership. Our clients recognize that we care about every piece of printing that we produce. Once we have delivered their first order, customers learn to trust our ability to understand their needs and deliver the printing they require. Since many of our clients have asked us about advertising specialties to promote their business or organization, we are now able to provide them with a complete line of promotional products - from shoe laces to Irish Crystal! In order to do this, we have become members of Promotional Products Association International. Through this membership, we are able to seek out the unusual and creative products desired by our clients. We keep up with current market trends by attending conferences and seminars and enjoy helping our clients find that "special, unique item" that conveys the image they desire.
